This was a Crown Equipment sponsored studio project that I participated in. The main goal was to help find a 'smart' way to improve safety in the warehouses for the forklift drivers, as well as the pedestrians. My team consisted of 4 members, two with industrial background and two with interaction background – this gave us the opportunity to play with integrating the physical object with augmented reality. I not only took up the unofficial liaison/project manager role, mentored my group mates' interaction design, but also built a 3D forklift model in 24 hours so we can give our presentation an extra pinch of reality.
